  • ComDisDOME UWW access only
    ComDisDOME is a continuously updated information service developed by Communication Sciences and Disorders educators and professionals for educators, clinicians, researchers and students in the fields of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. It contains over 130,000 citations from over 125 journals in the field and searches multiple content sources, including books and dissertations.
  • CINAHL UWW access only
    The definitive database for nursing and allied health, covering 1,200 leading journals.
  • Communication & Mass Media Complete UWW access only
    This database was created by combining the extensive coverage of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association (NCA)), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State University). Both of these resources have been greatly expanded upon (both in terms of content and scope) to offer full text for over 200 titles and citation coverage for additional sources. In total, several hundred valuable sources are covered.

    Produced by the National Library of Medicine, Medline covers all aspects of biomedicine including nursing, dentistry and veterinary medicine. It contains citations and abstracts, beginning in 1966, from over 3,800 journals published in the United States and 70 other countries.
  • PubMedCentral
    PubMedCentral is a repository for life sciences journals, sponsored by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Access to PMC is free and unrestricted.
  • PsycINFO UWW access only
    PsycINFO contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, and books in psychology, as well as psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law. Includes PsycLit database.
  • Education Full Text UWW access only
    Covers 423 core international periodicals, monographs, and yearbooks. Topics include a wide range of contemporary education issues. Includes abstracts from January 1994 and indexing from June 1983. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996.
  • ScienceDirect College Edition UWW access only
    Extensive Full Text access to the Elsevier journal collections, including the Journal of Voice: Health Sciences (600 peer reviewed journals), Life Sciences (530 peer reviewed journals) and Physical Sciences & Engineering (600 peer reviewed journals).
