The Ecology and Natural Resources Collection brings together in digital form two categories of primary and secondary publications: writings about research in ecology and natural resources conducted by University of Wisconsin faculty and staff; and unique or valuable titles in these fields held by the University of Wisconsin Libraries. The collection contains materials in a variety of formats including electronic facsimiles of books, manuscripts, and serial titles.

Included in the OmniFile Full Text: Mega Edition database. Indexes and abstracts over 140 English language periodicals in the physical, life, and health sciences plus the full text of over 35 of those periodicals. Includes feature articles, biographical sketches, symposia, conferences, review articles, selected letters to the editor, and supplements to journals. Indexing begins in 1984 and abstracting in March 1993. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.

The database of the American Geological Institute (AGI). Covers worldwide technical literature on geology and geophysics. Organizes and indexes papers from over 4,500 serials and other publications representative of the interests of the 20 professional geological and earth science societies that are members of the AGI. Covers North America since 1785 and other areas since 1933.

Institute of Physics Electronic Journals
Full text of all 33 of the Institute of Physics journals. Off campus users can use the site but do not have access to the full text of articles. Searching across the contents of the journals is possible. References with each article include links to available IOP articles as well as to INSPEC abstracts.

JSTOR Arts & Sciences I,II, & III Collection
JSTOR is an electronic journal archival project which provides full-text access to complete runs of back issues of over 550 scholarly journal titles in approximately forty fields.

Knovel Scientific and Engineering Online References
The Knovel database contains some of the leading engineering reference handbooks, databases, and conference proceedings. A few of the subject areas covered are: chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, concrete, asphalt, mechanical engineering, semiconductors, electronics, and surface engineering. Some of the standard reference texts included are Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, Lange's Handbook of Chemistry, and Marks' Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers, Machinery's Handbook. The content of more than 200 books is interactive and cross-searchable. Many titles have hyperlinked indexes.

Searchable Web database providing access to over 59 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications.

Nature
This site is a gateway to all Nature-titled journals and sites for all levels of visitors. It provides full text services to the weekly printed edition of Nature, and an extensive range of content and other services are available.

Project Muse
Provides access to the full text of 40+ scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics.

PsycARTICLES (EBSCOhost)
Provides full text articles on current issues in psychology from respected sources, spanning from 1988 to the present. PsycARTICLES includes more than 25,000 full-text articles from 42 journals published by American Psychological Association and allied organizations. All journals included in this database are indexed in PsycINFO.

PsycINFO (EBSCOhost)
PsycINFO contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, and books in psychology, as well as psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law. Includes PsycLit database.

PubMed
PubMed is a service of the National Library of Medicine, and includes over 15 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. PubMed contains access to bibliographic information that includes MEDLINE, OLDMEDLINE, out-of-scope citations (e.g., articles on plate tectonics or astrophysics) from certain MEDLINE journals, primarily general science and chemistry journals, for which the life sciences articles are indexed for MEDLINE, citations that precede the date that a journal was selected for MEDLINE indexing, as well as some additional life science journals that submit full text to PubMedCentral and receive a qualitative review by NLM.

FREE PubMedCentral is a repository for life sciences journals, sponsored by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Access to PMC is free and unrestricted.

The information stored about each article includes the article's cited reference list (bibliography), you can also search the databases for articles that cite a known author or work.
