Morningstar's reports include a ton of useful information - the Snapshot highlights the stock's performance, rating them against industry peers, and provides details into Morningstar ratings on growth, profitability and financial health. The reports also contain expert analysis by the professionals at Morningstar and give all supporting data.

Mergent Bond Record Ref Desk HG 4905 .M78
Covers corporate, convertible, government and municipal bonds. For each bond, find Moody's ratings, interest dates, current call price and date, sinking fund provision, current price, yield to maturity, amount outstanding, as well as issue date, price and yield.
Mergent Manuals
If you can't find enough information on a corporate bond in the Mergent Bond Record, the Mergent Manuals may fill in the gaps. Look up the company and toward the end of the company information (after Long-Term Debt and Line of Credit) is a list of outstanding debt with the Moody's rating and other details for each issue. There are manuals for industrial (Ref HG4961 .M67), OTC industrial (Ref HG4961 .M7237), bank & finance (Ref HG 4961 .M65), public utilities (Ref HG 4961 .M7245), municipal & government (Ref HG 4931 .M58), OTC unlisted (Ref HG 4961 .M7239x), and transportation (Ref HG 4971 .M74) companies.

Edgar-Scan Advanced Search (PricewaterhouseCoopers)
If a bond was issued after 1995 you can find a prospectus for it in the SEC's EDGAR database. PricewaterhouseCoopers has a handy interface for retrieving EDGAR filings. A prospectuses is a 424B (generally). The filing date of the prospectus won't always match the issue date of the bond, so look for a date that's close to (usually before) the issue date.
