Document Delivery - Articles in journals owned by UWW can be scanned and sent electronically to faculty, graduate students and distance education students for $1 per article.
InterLibrary Loan (ILLiad) - The Library will deliver articles in journals that we don't own directly to your desktop via your ILLiad account. Use Universal Borrowing to order books and audio-visual material from other UW libraries.
Scholarship & Creative Achievements - The Library co-sponsors this annual event, showcasing scholarly and creative achievements by UW-W faculty and staff.
Universal Borrowing from UW Libraries - Universal borrowing allows you to search for and borrow books and A/V material from other UW libraries. This free service takes 2-4 business days to get material to our Library.
Getting Assistance
Ask a Librarian - Ask reference questions via email or live chat. Email is always answered by UWW Librarians. Online chat reference is covered by a consortium of academic librarians across the U.S.
Copyright Information - Learn more about copyright compliance and fair use.
Reference Service - Call (262.472.1032) or drop by the Reference Desk for assistance. Reference Librarians would be happy to meet with individual faculty or to come to departmental meetings to discuss new library resources and services.
Supporting Your Teaching
Class Assignment Guides - If your students will be working on a research paper or project, librarians can create Web pages leading them to key print and online sources for their topics.
Course Reserves - The Library will scan articles and book chapters for remote access or will keep books and videos on reserve for students to use in the Library. Learn more about requesting course reserves or download the Reserve Request Form to get started.
Direct links to electronic journal articles - Instructions for incorporating direct links to online articles into an online syllabus or reading list. You can also create direct links to eReserves and the Library catalog. Contact Carrie Doyle (262-472-5512) for assistance with direct links.
Library Instruction (Bibliographic Instruction) - Librarians can provide customized library instruction for your classes covering print and online sources -- we can even create research-oriented class assignment Web pages for your classes.
Ordering Material for the Library - Help the Library support your teaching by ordering material for our collections. Each academic department is allocated funds to purchase Library materials. The Library Representative for your Department can give you more information on ordering for the Library. Faculty Collection Development Guides offer quick links to publishers and review sources in specific disciplines.
Video/DVD Booking - This form ensures that a video or DVD you would like to use in class will be available at the desired time.
